For TIG (GTAW) welding applications. Serves to generate an electric arc to supply heat and melt the base metal. The electrode itself is non-consumable. Alloyed with lanthanum (Lanthanated), it offers easy arc ignition, a steady and stable arc, high heat resistance, low burn-off rate and and is environmentally friendly and non-radioactive. Performs exceptionally well with both DC and AC currents. Suitable for both autogenous welding (fusion welding without filler wire) and filler metal wire applications.
